Biography

I've dedicated over 30 years to the fire service—a career fueled by resilience, leadership, and purpose. With a degree in Fire Administration, I've not only responded to countless emergencies but have also played a role in shaping future practices through policy development, mentorship, and community engagement. My journey began with proud service in the Air National Guard as an F-16 Crew chief, where I maintained one of the world’s most iconic fighter jets. That experience instilled discipline, technical expertise, and a deep sense of commitment—qualities that carried directly into my life as a firefighter. One of my greatest passions is teaching dual enrolled students—high schoolers earning college credit who represent the next generation of fire service professionals. I strive to pass on real-world insights, a strong sense of duty, and an enthusiasm for serving others. This program thrives thanks to our incredible fire service partners throughout the community. Their collaboration and involvement ensure students receive hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to the real challenges and rewards of this vital field. To me, the fire service goes far beyond battling fires. It’s about showing up in moments of crisis, offering medical aid, educating the public, and preparing for the unexpected. I’ve embraced this challenge wholeheartedly every day I wore the uniform.
