CULINARY ARTS PROGRAM
PROGRAM SUMMARY
Our Culinary Arts Program is designed to arm students with basic skills in the culinary arts. The program delivers instruction in culinary concepts, terminology, kitchen safety, sanitation, equipment usage, basic nutrition guidelines, both standard and metric measurements, food costing, theory, and practice in the production of culinary creations. Courses stress fundamental cooking techniques and preparation methods for hot foods, breakfast entrées, salads, sandwiches, breads, cakes, and pastries.
