PROGRAM SUMMARY
 
The 3D Printing program is designed for students interested in entering into the 3D printing and manufacturing industry. Through a multifaceted hands-on experience, students will learn the principles, standards, materials and application of 3D printing and manufacturing. Students will explore the different materials used in different printing technologies, as well as learn to identify, troubleshoot and correct errors in the manufacturing process.  Students will also learn to perform post-processing procedures of manufactured parts and materials and be able to maintain 3D printers.

INDUSTRY CERTIFICATIONS
  • Yavapai College’s 3D Printing and Manufacturing Certificate
CREDITS
  • Yavapai College credits are earned after completing the semester with a passing grade (C or better).
  • HS credits will be awarded at the end of each semester
  • Up to 4.75 High School credits, and up to 19 YC credits may be earned upon successful completion of the one year program.

Location: Yavapai College's CTEC Campus

Class Schedule: This is an Evening program with class times from 5:30pm-8:30pm.
 
In the Fall students attend class Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  In the Spring students attend class Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 
 
Grade Level Requirement: Sophomore - Senior
