ELECTRICAL LINE WORKER PROGRAM

PROGRAM SUMMARY
A  line worker constructs and maintains electric power transmission and distribution facilities. The term is also used for those who install and maintain telephone, telegraph, cable TV and more recently, fiber optic lines. Power lineman work on electrically energized (live) and de-energized (dead) power lines.

CREDITS

Class Schedule:
  • Fall Schedule: Tuesday -Thursday 6:45am-9:15am
  • Spring Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:45am-9:15am and Friday 8:00am-1:00pm
 
Grade Level Requirement:
  • Must be a Senior
 
Pre Req Info:
  • Currently enrolled in or have taken Algebra 2
  • 3.0 GPA in Math and Science Courses
