With over three and a half years on the team and more than 30 years living in Yavapai County, Amanda brings both local roots and strong leadership to her role. She loves the collaborative spirit of the MICTED team and the meaningful impact Career and Technical Education (CTE) has on students’ futures.
Before joining MICTED, Amanda spent over a decade in retail management- a fast-paced environment that sharpened her leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Now, she applies that experience to help support programs that give students real-world opportunities. To her, CTE means opportunity- a chance for students to explore their interests, gain hands-on experience, and graduate ready to succeed. Outside of work, Amanda stays active and adventurous, pursuing hobbies such as hiking, camping, paddleboarding, powerlifting, gardening, road trips, and even beekeeping. She’s also a proud mom, excited to see her 13-year-old son follow his ow CTE path- possibly as an underwater welder! Please help us give Amanda some appreciation that she so well deserves!
