Medical Assisting Professor | Healthcare Educator | Reptile Enthusiast

My journey in healthcare started at just 17, wide-eyed and eager, stepping into scrubs as a Medical Assistant. Being young in a field that demands both knowledge and maturity wasn’t easy—but it pushed me to grow fast, learn deeply, and adapt quickly. Over the years, I floated through nearly every medical specialty you can think of—pediatrics, cardiology, dermatology, orthopedics (and that’s just the shortlist). This hands-on experience gave me a 360° view of patient care that no textbook could ever fully teach.

Now, after years in the field, I’ve spent the last five inspiring years doing what I love just as much: teaching. From adult learners to peers, I've had the privilege of guiding students into healthcare careers. My teaching style is built on adaptability, empathy, and humor—because education shouldn’t just inform, it should connect. Whether I’m explaining vital signs or calming classroom nerves, I aim to inspire confidence and create a lasting impact.

Outside the classroom, I’m still a full-time healthcare nerd—and a proud reptile lover. (Yes, I think snakes are adorable. No, I won’t apologize.)

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help shape the next generation of medical professionals with knowledge and heart.
