Our first year Medical Assisting students are learning how different methods of communication (verbal, nonverbal, written, and visual) can impact the process of taking patient vitals. Students had to vital 3 "Special Communication Needs" patients: Blind, Deaf, and Nonverbal. These images are of them working with their Deaf patient.
