AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR
PROGRAM SUMMARY
Gain higher levels of technical knowledge and skills to maintain, diagnose, and repair automobiles and light trucks. Learn to troubleshoot and identify malfunctioning components and sensors in these four areas: brake systems, electrical/electronic systems, steering and suspension systems, and engine-performance analysis.

National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, Youth Division (AYES) which includes:
- Suspension and Steering
- Brakes
- Electrical/Electronic Systems
- Engine Performance
- Engine Repair
- Automatic Transmission/Transaxle
- Manual Drive Train and Axles
- Heating and Air Conditioning
Option: National Automotive Technician Education Foundation (ASE) Certification – students can test in one area at end of second year.
CREDITS
Up to 7.25 High School credits for both years and up to 29 Yavapai College credits for both years.

Class Schedule:
There are two program offerings.
- Monday – Thursday Afternoon classes:
1:15pm – 3:45pm - Friday classes: 8:00am – 1:00pm plus 5 hours online
