LENGTH OF PROGRAM:

GRADE LEVEL REQUIREMENT:
 
Sophomore – Senior
 
Must be 16 years old prior to Jan.1st of the current school year.
 

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Nursing Services Application – a supplemental application that is required in addition to a complete registration packet
  • Interview
  • Accuplacer Reading Test
  • Accuplacer Math Test
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Test
  • Physical Exam
  • Castle Branch Background Check
 
 
REQUIRED MATERIALS:
  • Scrub Top and Bottom (Central Campus students – the first set of scrubs are paid for by MICTED)
  • Watch (must have second hand)
  • Appropriate footwear
 
 
INDUSTRY CERTIFICATIONS:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification; CPR Certification and First Responder First Aid Certification, Yavapai College Phlebotomy Technician Certification
 

CREDITS:
Up to 5 High School credits over two years, up to 17 Yavapai College credits over two years.
CLASS SCHEDULE:

Year 1 – Nursing CNA
 
  • Monday – Thursday
    6:45 – 9:15 am plus 1 hour a week online
 
Year 2 – Phlebotomy
  • Monday – Thursday
    6:45 – 9:15 am plus 1 hour a week online
